ENVIRONMENT ENVIRONMENT DAY DAY

This planet is not a legacy from our forebears but a deposit for our next generation. Taking care of the earth is the same as taking care of our descendants.

Celebrating National Indigenous History Month in Canada

In 2009, the Canadian government officially declared June as National Indigenous History Month to honor the rich cultures, achievements, and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. The month includes National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, which aligns with the summer solstice a sacred day for many Indigenous communities. This observance grew from decades of Indigenous advocacy pushing for greater recognition, respect, and space to share their histories on their own terms.
